The runaway success of The LEGO Movie earlier this year has led to LEGO being more mainstream popular than it ever has before! Not only has this led to higher sales of actual LEGO toy sets, but it’s also led to a lot of spinoff merchandise that we typically wouldn’t get–including some very fun and creative limited-edition LEGO T-Shirts throughout the year! It’s been a while since the last ones were released, but now we’ve got our chance to order two very cool LEGO Movie inspired T-Shirts until midnight tonight–the $11 “Master Builders Union” and “STARFIGHTER! T-Shirts!

Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly cram any more T-Shirts into my closet, Teefury decided to bust out two absolutely irresistible limited-edition LEGO Movie shirts today! I don’t believe I’ve bought a Teefury shirt since the last LEGO-themed shirts were available months ago, and I thought I’d broke the habit–but clearly that is not the case!

The first (and better, in my opinion) of the two designs is this awesome “STARFIGHTER!” design by Brinkerhoff. It’s a mash-up of the LEGO Spaceman design (made famous by Benny the Spaceman, of course) and Star Wars (with an X-Wing flying past the Death Star). You could sell me just about anything Benny the Spaceman-wise, so this was a “buy on sight” item for me.

The other Teefury LEGO Movie shirt available today is the Master Builders Union tee-shirt. I was slightly “meh” on this shirt at a glance, but when I read the actual text and caught the references to the establishment of LEGO in 1958 and the casual dropping of the word “awesome”, I knew LEGO had me for this shirt as well. Oh, I am weak (but well-dressed)!

The LEGO Movie “STARFIGHTER!” and “Master Builders Union” T-Shirts are available to order online only on Thursday, 12/4/2014. If you think you might want these shirts, then you better order them while they’re available–there’s no guarantee that either of these designs will ever be offered again, and if they are, they’ll cost a lot more than today’s special $11 pricing.
