With all of the fun and excitement of various conventions, beach trips and new LEGO sets being released (finally new Chima sets–Wooo!), July 2014 went by in a flash! August 2014 is now upon us, and that can mean only one thing: it’s the time to look ahead and see what the future holds for next month at the LEGO Store! The August 2014 LEGO Store Calendar is old news–now it’s time to talk about the September 2014 LEGO Store Calendar and all of its deals, promos and events!

September 2014 will be the third month in a row that the LEGO Stores offer not one, but two free promo items with a qualifying purchase! The first of the two LEGO Store promos on the September 2014 LEGO Stores calendar is the LEGO Chima Worriz’ Fire Bike set. The free offer for this set is carrying forward from August 2014, so if you miss the Worriz Fire Bike LEGO set this month, you’ll have another shot at it next month! And hey, you can’t beat free, right?

The second of the two LEGO Store September 2014 promos is the free LEGO White Spaceman minifigure promo! I’ll talk about this one extensively later on this weekend, but the free promo LEGO Spaceman figure is going to be a blockbuster success for LEGO, no questions asked!

From September 17-30th 2014, LEGO VIP Members will get exclusive early access to the 2014 LEGO Winter Village set: LEGO Santa’s Workshop 10245! I discussed the early prototype photos of LEGO Santa’s Workshop several months ago, but I’m looking forward to the set every bit as much now as I was when the images of it were first leaked.

The only other bit of interesting news on the LEGO Stores September 2014 calendar front is the advertisement for the two LEGO Arctic sets that haven’t been released yet in the United States, as well as the UCS LEGO Batman Tumbler set. I expect all of those items to be available in the second half of August 2014, however, so no need to wait until next month (at least, for me)!

The back of the LEGO Store September 2014 calendar is unfortunately super-dull this time out. There’s some ads for the LEGOLand Parks and the LEGO Club, the grand opening announcement of another flagship LEGO Store in New York City, and news on a Double VIP Points promo that’s irrelevant to most of us (as it’s only good on LEGO Race Car Rally 10673 and Stephanie’s Beach House 41037).

The September 2014 LEGO Mini Monthly Build is a mini LEGO airplane that looks sorta neat, but certainly not something the majority of big LEGO fans couldn’t create on their own without breaking a sweat. I’ll be A-OK not being able to get this particular freebie (what with me being a wee bit past 14 years old and all).
