If you’re like me, you already bought all of the early 2013 LEGO Legends of Chima sets that you wanted and you’re waiting impatiently for the summer 2013 Chima sets to arrive. And the thing that I and every other Legends of Chima fan) am most excited about in the Legends of Chima Summer 2013 sets? New Animal Tribe minifigures! In just a few short months we’ll be seeing minifigures representing the Gorilla Tribe, Fox Tribe, and Skunk Tribe. But for one of those tribes, you might not have to wait anymore. A limited number of minifigures representing Skinnet of the Skunk Tribe have arrived for sale online early…

LEGO Skunk Tribe Skinnet Minifigure Legends of Chima Summer 2013Skinnet is quite possibly the most-anticipated LEGO Legends of Chima minifigure that is yet to be released. Why? He’s part of the previously unrepresented Skunk Tribe, and is even featured in the premiere of the Legends of Chima cartoon series. So when a seller obtained a handful of Skinnet minifigures and put them up for sale months early for just $16 shipped, it was a pretty big deal!

LEGO Legends of Chima Skunk Tribe Skinnet MinifigureThe retail price on the LEGO Legends of Chima Skunk Attack 70107 set is going to be around $15, so if all you care about from the set is the Skinnet minifigure (and that’s absolutely the only part of the Skunk Attack set that I care about), then you might as well order one of the few remaining Skinnet figures and get him a good 4-5 months before he hits stores.

LEGO Chima Skinnet Skunk Minifigure PiecesI actually think that Skinnet looks quite a bit cuter without the extra Skunk Mask head piece that can be placed over the head, although I know a lot of fans are loving the extra heads. The Skinnet minifigure’s tail is removable, as you can see in the photo above.

LEGO Chima Skinnet Minifigure without Head PieceIf you want to get your own Skinnet figure early, you can check out the sale listings for him here. There are still a few available, but with the growing LEGO Chima fandom, I don’t expect them to last long!
