LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Millennium Falcon 75105 Box

This is it! Tonight is the night that Star Wars fans have been waiting for since before they even knew there was something to wait for: Star Wars Force Friday, where hundreds of new Star Wars toys and collectibles will go on sale across the world at midnight! And for LEGO fans, there’s no set coming out tonight that’s bigger, more expensive or more iconic than the LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Millennium Falcon 75105!

LEGO Star Wars Episode VII First Order Transporter 75103!

75103 LEGO Star Wars First Order Transporter Box

It’s hard to believe, but it’s true: we’re just two days away from the most-hyped toy event of the decade–Star Wars Force Friday! And coincidentally enough, I’ve got two 2015 LEGO Star Wars Episode VII sets left to talk about (imagine that!). Yesterday I talked about the big-bad of The First Order with Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle, but if you want some troops for Kylo Ren to command, the LEGO First Order Transporter 75103 is for you!

LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle!

LEGO Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle Box

Ordinarily a Star Wars set with a price tag of $119.99 will be the most expensive set available in that wave. But 2015 is no ordinary year for Star Wars (you may have heard about this new movie coming out), and what would usually be the biggest of the LEGO Star Wars Summer 2015 sets ends up second! With three days to go until Force Friday, the spotlight falls on LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle 75104!

LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Rey’s Speeder 75099 Revealed!

75099 Rey's Speeder LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Box

With just four days to go until Force Friday (the legendary launch date of hundreds of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens toys), it’s time to move forward and take a look at the fourth of six new LEGO Star Wars Force Awakens sets that will be available on Force Friday at the end of this week! The first three sets that I looked at were new-age versions of old army vehicles, but this one is a bit removed from that: it’s the LEGO Rey’s Speeder 75099 set–the cheapest of all the day one Episode VII sets!

LEGO Star Wars First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter 75101!

75101 LEGO Star Wars First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter Box

Yesterday I discussed the modern reinterpretation of one of the most recognizable fictional vehicles in history: the Star Wars Episode VII First Order Snowspeeder 75100. But that’s not the most famous vehicle that the Imperials are bringing to the new movies–and one I’ll be talking about today looks far, far more like we remember it than the Snowspeeder does! Coming to our retail galaxies for Force Friday this week, it’s the LEGO Star Wars First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter 75101!

LEGO Star Wars Episode VII First Order Snowspeeder 75100!

LEGO Star Wars Episode VII First Order Snowspeeder 75100 Box

Yesterday I started my previews of the LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens sets by taking a look at Poe’s X-Wing Starfighter 75102, and so it logically follows that today we should look ahead to the vehicle that (according to the catalog) is meant to combat that slick Halloween-colored Starfighter. This Star Wars Episode VII vehicle has a name that harkens back to the Original Trilogy, but you sure wouldn’t know it at a glance: it’s the LEGO First Order Snowspeeder 75100!

LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Poe’s X-Wing Starfighter 75102!

LEGO 75102 Poe's X-Wing Starfighter Set Revealed Episode VII

I suspect I’m going to lose my Star Wars Fanboy card for saying this, but I’m just gonna say it: I’ve never particularly liked X-Wings. Blasphemy, right? Oh, I’ve owned plenty of X-Wings, but the drab colors have never captured my heart.

But that’s all set to change with Star Wars The Force Awakens, which brings us the new Halloween-colored LEGO Poe’s X-Wing Starfighter 75102 set!

LEGO Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu 70751 Released

I woke up this morning, looked at the date, and knew today was going to be an expensive day. Why? Because the most beautiful brick-built Oriental-style Village ever went up for sale this morning: the LEGO Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu is now available for order! (You must be logged into your LEGO VIP account to order.)

But just ordering this beauty wasn’t enough for me–I needed to see it in person! And so, I headed over to my nearest LEGO Store to take hi-res photos…

LEGO Ideas Wall-E Set 21303 Up for Order!

21303 LEGO Wall-E Set with Plant

Well… this is certainly an unexpected surprise! When word broke that the 21303 Wall-E set had somehow slipped out and started being sold in some European stores, I suspected that we’d be hearing an official announcement rather soon regarding the official release date for the LEGO Ideas Wall-E set.

But, well… while we have learned the release date for the Wall-E 21303 set, it’s not from the source that I was anticipating: the LEGO Wall-E set is now available for order online with free shipping!

LEGO Batman Jokerland 76035 Set Review & Photos

LEGO Clown Head from LEGO Batman Jokerland Summer 2015 Set

If you follow the Bricks and Bloks Facebook Page (and if you don’t–shame on you), you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been posting photos and teasing a review of a certain highly-anticipated set for the past week.

While the LEGO Jokerland 76035 Summer 2015 set won’t officially release in the United States until next week, my favorite fellow collector Dave M. tracked one down that snuck out early at Toys R Us! And after a monumental amount of prodding and harassment, I finally convinced Dave to compose a full LEGO Jokerland review and photo gallery…

LEGO Carnage’s SHIELD Sky Attack Review & Photos! 76036

LEGO Carnage SHIELD Sky Attack Review

For the most part, the 2015 LEGO Marvel sets are being dominated by sets themed around this year’s Marvel Cinematic Universe movies (Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man). But there are a few goodies for non-movie fans as part of the LEGO Marvel Summer 2015 sets wave, and one of them is the subject of today’s review: it’s the LEGO Carnage’s SHIELD Sky Attack 76036 set!

LEGO Classic Pirates 5003082 Free Promo Set Photos!

LEGO-Classic-Pirates-Set-Box-Promo-August-2015

Why hello there! It’s been a while, right? Although our new home still has no internet (I’m writing this post from my phone–seriously), it’s thankfully been a very slow couple of weeks for LEGO news, so I haven’t missed out on covering too much. But something finally popped up today that I definitely wanted to talk about. We’ve known about a certain promo since last winter, but hi-res photos of what’s sure to be one of the most popular free promos of 2015 have now appeared: it’s the LEGO Classic Pirates 5003082 set coming free to LEGO Stores in August 2015!
