LEGO Painting Easter Eggs 40121 Released & Unboxing!

There’s one more item that I saw in-person for the first time last week when I visited the LEGO Store to pick up my April 2015 LEGO Store Calendar: the LEGO Easter 2015 vignette set–Painting Easter Eggs 40121! While this is a small set with a little price tag, this item is still a big deal to many LEGO collectors out there–and the LEGO Painting Easter Eggs set is now available online for just $9.99!

Easter LEGO Painting Easter Eggs 40121 2015 Set Released

When the March 2015 LEGO Store Calendar popped up online around the beginning of February 2015, we got our surprise first look at the seasonal 2015 LEGO Easter set. We didn’t know the official name or piece-count for the set  at that time, but now that it’s been released, all the details are at our fingertips!

Like the other vignettes, the Painting Easter Eggs set is only available through the official LEGO Store (both online and in physical stores), so you won’t be able to find it at Target or Walmart or whatnot. At my particular stores, it’s located on one side of floating “island” displays in the middle of the store, although shelving styles may vary depending upon the store that you visit.

40121 LEGO Painting Easter Eggs Set Released in The LEGO Stores40121 Painting Easter Eggs contains 153 pieces for a price-tag of just $9.99, making it one of the best values around at just 6.5 cents per piece! I couldn’t believe how much I was getting for under 10 dollars when I poured out the contents of this box!

LEGO 40121 Painting Easter Eggs Set Unboxing PhotosYou get two minifigures with the set–a boy and (presumably) his mother, along with a mother hen figure and one of the most delightful kitchens ever made in LEGO form. With opening drawers and kitchen utensils and a checkered floor, this kitchen is way more detailed than what you’d expect from a sub-$10 set.

LEGO Seasonal Easter 2015 Painting Easter Eggs Set Unassembled 153 PiecesAs this is such a small set, I took a few unboxing photos of Painting Easter Eggs to include, but I’m not planning on writing a full review. If you’ve got your hearts set on a whole 40121 LEGO Painting Easter Eggs review, though, let me know, dear readers!

I was told at my local LEGO Store that this set had been selling extremely well since being put out earlier that week, so I would expect that 40121 LEGO Painting Easter Eggs will be another fast sell-out, with supplies getting wiped out well before Easter. If you want this adorable set–now’s the time to grab one!

40121 Painting Easter Eggs LEGO Set Box BackThe LEGO 40121 Painting Easter Eggs set is now available for order through the online LEGO Shop, as well as at brick-and-mortar LEGO Stores. As I said, though–don’t wait too long if you want this festive Easter LEGO set–this set will almost certainly sell out long before the end of March.

Have you already bought your Painting Easter Eggs 40121 set (or plan to buy it soon), LEGO fans? Do you want this charming set as a holiday decoration for your household, or are you saving your dollars for larger and more notable 2015 sets?

  1. The first wave of these sets sold out at my local store in less than a week. They’re getting a new shipment in today, so I’m getting mine while they’re available.
