When you factor in the fact that Amazon has free shipping and no tax in almost every state, you end up saving quite a bit on most of these sets ordering them directly from Amazon instead of driving down and picking them up from your local toy store.

The best deal in this bunch is definitely the LEGO Star Wars Z-95 Headhunter at 30% off. While I was dead-set on getting that General Krell minifigure from my favorite arc of Star Wars Clone Wars, I was a little hesitant to pay 50 bucks for the set he was in (as the Z-95 Headhunter is a little obscure for me). At 35 bucks with no tax and free shipping, I already placed my order and will soon have my favorite betrayer of Jedi, General Krell, in LEGO Star Wars minifigure form.

In addition, this may be a good time to pick up Jabba’s Palace. I always felt that LEGO set the MSRP on Jabba’s Palace way too high, leading it to deterring a lot of collectors (and parents). With the Rancor Pit also on sale and the 2013 LEGO Star Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge coming out this summer, it’s nice to be able to pick up LEGO Jabba’s Palace for a more fair ~$90. And who wouldn’t want more Republic Troopers and Sith Troopers at a 20% Discount?
