LEGO Minecraft is moving away from being a micro-world LEGO theme and moving into a full-on regular minifig-scaled LEGO theme in late 2014/early 2015! But before that switch happens, LEGO has one more LEGO Minecraft Micro-World set left coming up for fans of the LEGO micro-scale. We’ve seen teases of the set before, but with it hitting LEGO Stores in under two weeks, LEGO has now officially and fully unveiled hi-res images of the LEGO Minecraft The End 21107 set!

If the LEGO 21107 Minecraft The End set is truly the final LEGO Minecraft Micro World set, then it definitely wins the award for “most appropriate name ever for a LEGO set”. And to be totally honest, I sort of hope that the 21107 LEGO The End set is the last one of the LEGO Minecraft micro-scale sets, as I’m ready for LEGO to devote all their attention to bigger and better LEGO Minecraft sets in the regular minifigure scale.

The “main event” of the 21107 LEGO Minecraft The End set is unquestionably the first-ever LEGO Ender Dragon! With a fierce expression on its face and a clear flight pole to hold it aloft, LEGO did a great job with their first take on an Ender Dragon LEGO figure. Definitely the highlight of this set!

We are certain to get a LEGO Ender Dragon minifigure scale toy by the end of 2014, but that Ender Dragon will be in a totally different scale (and likely with a set that’s going to cost a lot more).

The actual playset portion of the End LEGO Minecraft 21107 set shares the same modular design as the previous three LEGO Minecraft Microworld sets. The End looks a little, well… barren… but I’m not sure that that could really be helped, given the design of The End dimension in the Minecraft video game. With the tan End Stone pillars with Ender pearls atop them and dragon egg return portal represented, I’m really not sure how many more features of The End dimension LEGO could have packed into this set.

And of course, the End won’t look too barren once it’s populated by the Ender Dragon and the four (count ’em, four) LEGO Enderman Micromobs figures included with this set. While LEGO only lined up three LEGO Endermen mobs together in the images, if you look carefully you can tell that there’s actually a fourth included with the set.

The LEGO Minecraft The End 21107 set will be available for order online on June 1st 2014, and should be in-stock for immediate shipping at that time. Initial shipments of these Minecraft LEGO sets tend to sell out fast, so make sure to order one early if you don’t want to wait a few weeks or (gulp) months for the restock.
