This may defy all logic, as I run a blog and have one of my degrees in Computer Science, but technologically I am stuck in the stone ages. I don’t watch internet videos, I don’t download books or comics to a tablet, I don’t purchase video games through my console’s online marketplace, I don’t have Netflix or Hulu, and I’ve certainly never purchased a digital copy of a movie. But for once, I am certainly tempted to do so.

Though I’ve already got The LEGO Movie Everything Is Awesome Edition on pre-order, my trigger finger is getting really itchy and I’m feeling quite tempted to buy the just-released LEGO Movie Amazon Instant Video HD Edition just so that I can watch the movie again right now. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail, as I really don’t need to be buying an extra copy of a movie I’ve already ordered on Blu-Ray, but man am I feeling envious of people who watch digital movies right now.

The LEGO Movie Digital Copy has been officially released for purchase as of today. The LEGO Movie DVD/Blu Ray release date is June 17, 2014 (almost an entire month away), so if you just can’t wait to see The LEGO Movie again, you now have the option of owning it and viewing it digitally instantly!
