LEGO Mixels Series 4 Mixel Max Figures Photos!

I just don’t have the space (or money!) to buy absolutely every LEGO item that comes out that I like, so I’m forced to pick-and-choose my favorites from a lot of the LEGO themes out there. As such, I try to limit myself to 2-3 LEGO Mixels figures from each series that comes out, and I tend to forget about one of the main Mixels gimmicks: the fact that three members of each tribe in a series combine into a larger gestalt Mixels Max figure! But since readers asked after I spotted Series 4 Mixels in stores last week, I went back to the store to take some photos of the Max Mixels on the cases for LEGO Mixels Series 4…

LEGO Mixels Series 4 Mixel Maxes Figures

I was surprised when some readers asked me about the Series 4 Mixels Max figures, as LEGO has already posted images of the Max Mixels for all three of the Series 4 Mixels (and the instructions for building them) over on the LEGO website.

That said, I decided that maybe what these fans really wanted to see was images of the newest Mixels Max figures taken directly from the cases and packaging for the series, so I went back to Target today and did some photography.

LEGO Mixels Series 4 Glowkies Max FigureFirst up, we’ve got the LEGO Mixels Glowkies Max figure. This is the one of the new Max trio that I like the best, as two of my favorite figures from the whole series make up 2/3 of the gestalt form–Glowkies Max basically looks like a big combination of 41534 Vampos and 41533 Globert. I see very little of Boogly in this Glowkies Max Mixels figure, which I am absolutely thrilled about!

LEGO Mixels Glowkies Max Instructions Series 4 2015The Glowkies Max figure is special in that it’s one of only two Max Mixel figures to have wings, as well as being one of the only two LEGO Max figures to be cycloptic!

2015 LEGO Mixels Infernites Max FigureAnd since I mentioned “cycloptic”, let’s move on to the other one-eyed 2015 Mixels Max toy–Infernites Max! This is technically the second LEGO Mixels figure released with the title of “Infernites Max”, as the original Infernites Max figure came out way back in LEGO Mixels Series 1 last winter. As of now, the Infernites are the only tribe to have multiples Maxes.

LEGO Mixels 2015 Infernites Max Figure InstructionsThe red 2015 Infernites Max figures actually reminds me of a red, flaming Minion from Despicable Me more than anything else, which its pudgy, rounded shape and one eye. I definitely wouldn’t want to shake hands with this Maxel, though, what with his hands being made of flames and all!

LEGO Mixels 2015 Orbitrons Max Figure PhotoFinally, we’ve got the Orbitrons Max. The Orbitrons tribe is such a neat idea that I hoped I’d be absolutely in love with the Orbitron Max–but I’m just not.

LEGO Mixels Orbitrons Max InstructionsHe looks sort of blocky and ugly to me, and is unfortunately less appealing to me than any of the individual Mixels Orbitrons sets. I think the Orbitons Max’s kneepads look neat and I like the flames on his wings, but this is the figure from the set I’m least interested in building.

LEGO Mixels Series 4 Case Released

LEGO Mixels Series 4 cases have now been arriving at Target Stores in the United States, and should begin to arrive at the LEGO Stores and other retailers around February 1st, 2015, which is the official release date for this first Mixels wave of 2015.

Does seeing the LEGO Mixel Series 4 Max figures influence which LEGO Mixels 2015 sets you’ll purchase, LEGO fans? Which Mixels–if any–will you be buying from this wave?
