The mystery of The LEGO Movie minifigures promos is now at an end! After weeks of waiting, wondering and speculation, we now know exactly when, where and how both the LEGO Movie Pajamas Emmet minifigure and the LEGO Movie Radio DJ Robot minifigure will be available! If you didn’t want to buy The LEGO Movie video game to get the Radio DJ Robo minifigure, you’re in luck–but you’re going to have to buy something else to get him (and PJs Emmet) instead…

The LEGO Movie Pajamas Emmet Minifigure Exclusive Regal Cinemas

LEGO collectors have been rabid for news regarding when and where they would be able to obtain the LEGO Movie Pajamas Emmet and Radio DJ Robot minifigures, and now we know for sure exactly how these figures will be distributed.

First off, the LEGO Movie Pajamas Emmet figure! This is the last LEGO Movie promo minifigure that we had no means of obtaining–until now! The LEGO Pyjamas Emmet minifigure will be available exclusively to Regal Crown Club members who purchase RealD 3D tickets to see “The LEGO Movie” at Regal Cinemas starting February 7th, 2014.

Regal Crown Club membership is free and there is no other means of obtaining this figure in the United States, so definitely plan on seeing “The LEGO Movie” at Regal Cinemas if you want the Pajamas Emmet figure (I know I do–that winking Emmet head is the best!).

LEGO Movie Radio DJ Robot Minifigure AMC Theater GiveawayMeanwhile, AMC Theaters is offering the LEGO Movie Radio DJ Robot figure as a free bonus to AMC Stubs members who purchase a Real 3D ticket to see “The LEGO Movie” from February 7-9. Walmart previously stated that this figure was their exclusive, but that’s obviously not the case–the Radio DJ Robot minifigure is in fact a shared exclusive with AMC Theaters.

Unfortunately, the AMC Stubs membership will cost $12 on top of the ~$14 ticket price to see the movie, so you’ll still be paying a hefty sum (around $26) to own your own LEGO DJ Robot figure.

  1. I’m already a member of AMC Stubs, and I have no intention of trying to collect everything from the Lego Movie (the way that I do for other things…) so I guess I’ll try to get the DJ figure and drop it on eBay so somebody else that needs it has a chance.

  2. Definitely! I already love Emmet, and have a couple variants because I /love/ expressive faces, so I joined up over on Regal so I can go get my Pjyama Emmet.

  3. Regal will give only one minifig per transaction (per coeur d alene, Idaho theatre). So if you have several children you are buying tickets for, be prepared to break the hearts of all but one. OR stand in line in subzero temps to pay for each ticket individually. Regal lost our business.
