If anyone out there has been questioning the level of my nerdiness, let me resolve that question by proudly proclaiming that I’ve been walking around in public humming The LEGO Movie theme song, “Everything is AWESOME!!!” for the past several weeks. No, seriously–I love that song. And if you love it, too, you’re in luck–The LEGO Movie Soundtrack CD is now available for order! This just may be the new soundtrack for my life…

I had my reservations about The LEGO Movie when it was announced–and I still do. But one thing I’m absolutely sure about after seeing a few trailers and commercials is that I outright love The LEGO Movie theme, “Everything is AWESOME!!!” So when I heard that WaterTower Music was releasing the complete LEGO Movie Original Motion Picture Soundtrack with four versions of “Everything is AWESOME!!!” on it, I was ready to place my order. Instantly.

In addition to four versions of “Everything Is AWESOME!!!” (an instrumental, a version by Jo Li, a version by Shawn Patterson and Sammy Allen, and the main version by Tegan and Sara featuring The Lonely Island), the 28-track The LEGO Movie Soundtrack CD will include two dozen tracks by Mark Mothersbaugh. Also, the LEGO Movie Soundtrack cover art is wicked cool–I actually think it looks better as an album cover than it does as a movie poster!

The LEGO Movie Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is now available for pre-order for about $12, and is eligible for free shipping. As a die-hard LEGO collector, I would totally buy this soundtrack regardless, but I’m totally psyched that I already know there’s a few tracks on the LEGO Movie OST that I’m going to love.
