I thought that the 2014 LEGO Ninjago Rebooted theme was pretty cool with its hi-tech, futuristic take on Ninjago, but the LEGO Ninjago 2015 theme will be going back to basics with the tried-and-true formula of LEGO ninjas versus snake men! The most powerful and deadly of the Serpentine tribes–the Anacondrai–is back and bent on domination with their crazy serpent-headed aircraft. Luckily, the Ninjago team has a new recruit to help fight them off–the Ninjago Orange Ninja minifigures debuts with the LEGO Ninjago Anacondrai Copter Attack 70746 set!

The very-loved LEGO Ninjago theme will be going back to its LEGO Ninjago Season 2 roots in 2015, as those pesky LEGO Snake Men will be rearing their ugly heads again! This time, the Anacondrai will be flying into action aboard this tan and purple attack copter (which frankly looks a lot more like a VTOL to me than a copter, but whatever). The set includes two enemy figures including what looks to be a high-ranking Serpentine minifigure and what I could swear is a punk rocker. Meanwhile, the Ninjago squad will represent when the all-new LEGO Ninja Orange Ninja minifigure hits the scene atop his… flying… sword… jet… thing. The Orange Ninja’s vehicle is a bit bizarre, but the 70746 LEGO Anacondrai Copter Attack set is the only set including the Orange Ninja LEGO minifigure in January 2015, making it an absolute must for Ninjago fans (and orange fans like me!). The set contains 311 pieces and will retail for $29.99, so it passes my “value test” by being under 10 cents per piece. The LEGO Ninjago Condrai Attack Copter 70746 set is part of the LEGO Ninago 2015 sets wave that is scheduled to be released in January 2015. Instinct says that we’ll see these 2015 Ninjago sets start to hit stores before the holidays, however, so keep your eyes on the Bricks and Bloks Facebook Page, where I’ll post an alert once anyone spots the LEGO Ninjago 2015 sets in stores.
