Well, any skepticism that I had regarding that leaked list of LEGO Store 2015 exclusives that appeared online last week is definitely fading. One of the items on that list was the supposed LEGO Star Wars May the 4th 2015 Admiral Yularen minifigure.
I didn’t really doubt a LEGO Admiral Yularen would be the promo–there was just no proof. But, well… now there is! The May the 4th 2015 LEGO Star Wars Admiral Yularen minifigure promo has now been revealed!

In 2015, after having the spotlight shone brightly on them for the past several years, the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy movies will finally be getting a bit of a break from LEGO. While we’ve had a plethora of LEGO Star Wars sets based on the prequel trilogy movies in the last few years, encompassing almost every major vehicle seen in the Star Wars Episodes I-III. Let’s face it–not every vehicle in the Star Wars universe is entirely realistic. But there are some Star Wars vehicles that go beyond being a bit far-fetched to all-out ludicrous. One of these existed outside continuity for over 30 years as a Kenner toy: the Imperial Troop Transport. Astonishing everyone, Pablo Hidalgo announced at NYCC 2013 the Imperial Troop Transport would be entering the official canon as part of Rebels. And in 2015, it enters the LEGO world: it’s the LEGO Star Wars Imperial Troop Transport 75078!

2014 was a tough year for the Star Wars Expanded Universe, what with Disney wiping virtually ever Star Wars book and video game ever made out of official Star Wars continuity. That move broke a lot of hearts and left a lot of characters out of a job in the Star Wars Universe. Earlier today I talked about one of the two LEGO Clone Wars-specific sets coming to stores in January 2015–the LEGO Star Wars Geonosis Troopers 75089. It seems like a dozen or more new LEGO sets are being revealed every day now (because they are!), which is making it tough to keep up with the onslaught of of news. So even though it was revealed a few days ago, now, let’s stop and take a look at another one of the LEGO Star Wars 2015 sets coming our way in January. The 2015 LEGO Star Wars TIE Advanced Prototype 75082 is obviously pretty reminiscent of Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, but not only does it has some unique design elements that actually make me like this prototype more than the final version, it has the first-ever LEGO Inquisitor Minifigure!
