Despite the fact that the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham video game was one of the biggest games of 2014, LEGO really didn’t produce very many new LEGO Batman sets to coincide with the release of the game. But 2015 is sweeping in to the rescue, and one of the exclusive Winter 2015 polybags will further expand the LEGO Batman 3 universe in toy form! Exclusively arriving at Toys R Us shortly, it’s the LEGO Joker Bumper Car 30303 set!

One of the absolute most unforgettable stages in the LEGO Batman 3 video game is the “Same Bat Time! Same Bat Channel!” level that features all kinds of nostalgic Batman 1966 goodness. I didn’t think it likely that we’d ever see anything from that level released in official LEGO toy form–but I was wrong!

Although the LEGO Joker figure included in the 30303 LEGO The Joker’s Bumper Car set is nothing special (despite coming with a fun cream pie accessory), the bumper car vehicle component of the set is all-new and all-awesome! I own dozens and dozens of LEGO vehicles at this point, but never have I owned a LEGO bumper car–and I can’t wait to do so!

While this isn’t quite as good a deal on paper as the LEGO Tiger polybag set that I previously discussed, the big difference is that that polybag contained more pieces and no minifigures, while this set includes less pieces and a LEGO Joker minifigure.

Considering that the LEGO Joker minifigure is worth $3 alone to many folks, $3.99 for this entire LEGO 30303 Bumper Car set will be considered a major deal by loads of people out there! And at 47 pieces for $3.99, this set is still a solid value at less than 10 cents per piece.

A lot of non-licensed LEGO polybags (particularly LEGO City ones) tend to sit around in stores for months before selling out, but it’s pretty obvious that this LEGO The Joker’s Bumper Car 30303 set isn’t going to be one of them. This is definitely going to be one of the fastest-selling and most popular polybags of winter 2015.

Though the LEGO 30303 set will almost definitely be part of a free promo giveaway at Toys R Us, the exclusive set will also be available for purchase alone for $3.99.
