During this past week, TLG uploaded the entire North America Winter 2016 LEGO Catalog, giving us our first official looks at dozens and dozens of sets that had previously only been heard about from leaks and rumors. But there was one incoming theme that had been officially confirmed that was notable by its absence from the American catalog… but not the Russian catalog! It seems a bit ironic, but as things turn out, I’ve already talked about all of the LEGO Star Wars Winter 2016 sets, so there’s nothing Star Wars-related for me to discuss on this momentous day. Alas! But there’s plenty to discuss on the superhero-ing front, including the official reveals of the last Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice set! And now we know: the LEGO DC Justice League Cosmic Clash DVD with Cosmic Boy minifigure is now up for order!

We’re just three weeks out from the grand launch of the vast majority of LEGO 2016 sets, but there’s at least one theme that I haven’t touched upon at all yet: Ninjago! As we inch ever closer to the upcoming Ninjago movie hitting theaters, the series continues in full force next year. And the Ninjago theme for the first half of 2016 is a continuation of what we saw at San Diego Comic Con 2015–Sky Pirates! And of this new wave of Sky Pirates set, there’s one that caught my attention more than any other: Jay’s Elemental Dragon 70602!

LEGO has been releasing sets and Minifigures for Disney properties such as Star Wars, Marvel and Frozen for years now, so it didn’t surprise me much at all when I heard that a LEGO Disney Minifigures Series 71012 was coming in spring 2016. And while the set hasn’t been officially confirmed yet by TLG, it might as well be now that retailers have leaked the character list, which includes favorites like Mickey Mouse, Aladdin, Lilo & Stitch and more!

Among the many compelling mysteries fans are dying to have answered in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie next month is the true identity and background of the mysterious, Sith-like Kylo Ren. Following the release of the full Episode VII trailer and its absence of a certain Jedi Master, crazy rumors started swirling about Kylo Ren potentially being Luke Skywalker. Photos from the set seemed to disprove those allegations, but now we can officially confirm it via the merch: the 2016 LEGO Star Wars Battle of Takodana 75139 set gives us the first-ever unmasked Kylo Ren figure–and he’s definitely not Luke Skywalker!
